This threads just to suggest any changes you think would be appropriate for any of the raid areas, and explain your reasoning.
To start off with my suggestions:
1) Drop rates: I think a boost to drop-rates of items from the bosses would be good. The items from the bosses are very unique and cool to have, but drop rates like 0.1% for the yamato (vergils blade) or 1% drop rates for items such as the mecha zombius armour or the unholy retributor is just quite ridiculous. whats the point of having such items if next to nobody has them? these drop-rates were shown to be ridiculous when Falc, Pixelsboy and Finnly said they spent an age constantly respawning and killing vergil and didnt get a single copy of his sword. And if a player is grinding to get the full set of mecha zombius armour per-say, it takes so many kills to even have a chance of getting any piece of armour, much less the one piece you may need to finish a set. Also, the more common items like heart of zombius, leg of skelemare, shalra's essence and foot of frasier / orb of deception should made to a 100% chance. This will be explained more in the next point. The final example pertains to Varson. As Varson is a long and slow grind to just be able to fight him, it seems unfitting that you still have an incredibly low chance of getting one of his mythical items. Increasing the rate of drops for these items would make the grind much more worth it in my opinion, as it would be a more satisfying reward for all the grinding and effort you put into the varson fight than the current 100% chance drops (flame core, trading card, titan ward potion, money and exp).
2) Varson's Key: Varson being the final boss of TNA is an insane fight, and the signs outside his arena advise that 1v1 is essentially a deathtrap. Despite this, the current system for varson keys is that only the keyholder is eligible to fight. So an entire party would need to grind for a varson key, which is at the very least 4 kills of every raid boss. Often times it takes more than 4 kills of each boss as the items they drop that are needed for a key, are not 100% drops, meaning you could potentially kill zombius or skelemare 6 times, and not have enough of their parts to make part of the key. A possible fix for this is that the key could teleport everyone within a certain distance of the keys user into the arena, or maybe it would just open the iron gate at the entrance to his arena for a small duration.
3) Carlos: recently Mining captain Carlos was buffed, having similar health to Major Mean of Castrum, but having much higher speed, base damage and his capacity to heal himself being buffed. Yet he still only drops 60 eco. for perspective, 60 eco can be gotten from killing 2 elite mob alliance soldiers, who have a combined health of 500 and no special abilities. I would suggest increasing Carlos' eco reward to the same bracket as Major mean, given how they're much more similar now.
4) Shalra: Shalra's mechanics as a boss are very sound, but she suffers the same issue as Carlos. Low eco output. She currently drops 500 eco (that being the lowest ive gotten from her) to around 600, the same as most minibosses. However considering her difficult as a main boss especially compared to zombius, it seems unfitting that an admittedly easier fight gives more rewards. This coupled with the drastically low drop rates of her unique items make her a rare fight unless someone is grinding for a varson key.
5) boss items: Every boss has a ore common drop. The heart of zombius, the leg of skelemare, the essence of shalra, the foot of frasier and the orb of deception (dropped by majora's wrath rarely). I would suggest giving these items a small secondary function, for those players who have them but are not aiming to fight lord Varson. These would not be game breaking, but maybe a right click ability reflecting the nature of the item. The orb of deception could grant invisibility, the leg of skelemare could grant speed. stuff like that to add a bit of value to these items, and make them feel less like purely farming items.
